At The Magnolia Rose Foundation, we create inclusive, sensory-friendly spaces where exceptional children and their families can play, learn, and connect.

Our Sprouts Program (ages 0–12) offers fun, engaging activities and experiences for children, while ExceptionaliTeens (ages 13+) provides social and skill-building opportunities for teens and young adults.

Throughout the year, MRF Playdates give families opportunities to experience sensory-friendly movies, private venue rentals, outdoor adventures, recreational activities, character experiences, educational outings, and more—all while connecting with other families in an inclusive and understanding community.

Understanding Our Playdate Levels

MRF Playdates are categorized based on the cost of providing each experience:

Bud Playdate – $10
Stem Playdate – $15
Rose Playdate – $20–$30

These levels are not memberships. They simply reflect the cost associated with each type of event. For example, a Rose Playdate may include higher expenses for venue rentals, admission, special activities, or other elements needed to create the experience.

Registration fees help MRF cover these costs so we can continue providing safe, inclusive and memorable experiences for our families.

Growing With Our MRF Families

As Magnolia Rose Foundation has grown, so has the number of families participating in our playdates. During Year 5, we began making changes to help ensure MRF can continue creating these experiences sustainably for Years 6, 7, and beyond.

One of our biggest changes is moving toward a more membership-based model while keeping MRF Playdates accessible to everyone.

You do not have to be an MRF Member to attend our playdates.

What Does Membership Change?

🌸 MRF Members: Children receive FREE admission to eligible playdates as part of their membership benefits.

🎟️ Non-Members: Each eligible playdate will offer 25 FREE Early Bird children's tickets, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once the 25 Early Bird tickets have been claimed, non-member families can still attend by purchasing children's tickets for that playdate.

The cost of children's admission will depend on the experience. Some events may be offered at a discounted rate or a portion of the regular event cost, while others may require families to pay the actual cost charged to MRF by the venue.

For example, our sensory-friendly movie playdates have a set per-child cost from the theater that may include admission and a children's snack combo. For private rentals, parks, and other MRF-hosted experiences, children's ticket purchases help offset the cost of securing the venue and creating the experience.

Building a Sustainable Future

Our goal isn't to limit who can participate—it's to make sure these experiences can continue.

Memberships and registration fees help us secure venues, plan new experiences, accommodate our growing community, and continue creating spaces where exceptional children can play, build friendships, explore their community, and simply be themselves.

We want MRF Playdates to be here for today's families and for the families who will find us in the years ahead.
